Main directions and priorities: Healthy nutrition is the main condition for the normal physical and neuropsychic development of a child, the development of immunity to various diseases. Proper nutrition is necessary for a child of any age, and not just children of the first year of life. A feature of the development of children of all ages is their high need for all food and biological components: proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and microelements. A child's body can accumulate a large amount of harmful impurities because, as a percentage of their body weight, children eat and drink much more than adults.

Slide description:

Proper nutrition is based on 5 principles: Regularity – that is, diet. Already in preschool age, you can teach your child to independently determine the time of main meals using a clock. Eating according to the clock is important at any age, but its importance is especially great for children 6-7 years old, as the body is actively growing and maturing. The child should develop the idea that daily food is necessarily tomorrow, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. Variety is the task of teachers and parents to create a diverse taste horizon so that they like different products and dishes. We need to help people understand that tasty food is not always healthy. Adequacy is the replenishment of the body’s energy expenditure. Children need to develop an idea of how much food is enough, not enough and too much. Safety - food safety is ensured by 3 conditions - adherence to the rules of personal hygiene, the ability to distinguish between fresh and stale products, and careful handling of unfamiliar products. The child needs to know if there is any doubt about the freshness of the food, it is not allowed to eat it. The same attitude must be formed towards unfamiliar products, since new products unfamiliar to our food culture may contain allergens that are hazardous to health. And introduction to unfamiliar products should only be in the presence of an adult. Pleasure - eating should take place in a warm, cozy atmosphere, at a beautifully set table. While eating, you need to pay attention to how tasty the food is prepared, how varied it is, and discuss the merits of the dishes. Teach children to describe a dish by smell, taste and appearance.

Rules of baby food: 1 rule of baby food - diet Proper nutrition of a child presupposes the absence of strict adherence to a diet. Children are tiny but full-fledged people who still need care. In addition, when there is no feeling of hunger, that is, the body is not yet ready to eat food, they eat without pleasure, so the food will not be used for future use. When he gets hungry, the baby will ask for it himself. And there is no problem that the child ate instead of three, two or five times a day. If the food is normal and violence is not used against the child, then there will be neither malnutrition nor overeating. Rule 2 of children's food - non-violence In most cases, the child is persuaded to “eat for dad, grandpa, mom, etc.”, or they are simply ordered “until you finish, you won’t get up from the table.” And if you imagine how we would feel in such a situation? The baby’s body doesn’t need food at the moment, so he doesn’t want it, that’s all. The appetite may arise after some time, and there is no point in being offended. However, the appetite should be for natural products - porridge, potatoes, apples, milk, and not for sweets and cookies. In some cases, however, there are whims and tricks. 3rd rule of baby food - illnesses It is worthwhile to dwell on the proper nutrition of a child in case of illnesses. The practice of “feeding” sick children is very widespread. It is believed that this gives the body additional energy to fight the disease. The paradox is this: the body really needs strength, it mobilizes all resources to restore the shaken balance. And the patient has no appetite precisely because all the energy is aimed at fighting the disease, and there is simply no energy left for the digestion process. There is an animal instinct at work here, which is aimed at survival. Rule 4 - freedom in everyday nutrition In everyday nutrition, it is better if children have the opportunity to choose foods. Thus, the problem of a diet balanced in essential nutrients and calories is solved in itself. Based on many years of observations, it was found that, given freedom of choice, children, at the level of intuition or subconscious, are able to create a menu that will be the best in all respects. The function of adults here is to guide the child regarding the correct combination of products. Rule 5 - fruits Children can eat fruits without any restrictions, it is almost impossible to overeat on them, and they are very healthy. But if the child refuses, there is no need to force it. If there is a lack of any mineral or vitamin, the child himself will ask for the apple or even greens he needs. You just need to coordinate the combination of fruits with other foods. These combination rules are objective for both children and adults.

5 slide

Slide description:

Rule 6 of baby food - protein foods Protein foods should be given to the child 1-2 times a day as desired, but do not worry if he prefers rice or potatoes instead of cottage cheese or pea porridge. But excess, like lack of proteins, can lead to unpleasant consequences. You should not introduce your child to sausage, since it is an unnatural food that deceives the taste organs. When it comes to natural foods, a child should be able to choose from what adults eat. Rule 7 of baby food - dairy products Milk, curdled milk, kefir, and yogurt are excellent foods for children. However, it is not advisable to combine them with starches. A child aged one to one and a half years should not be fed cereals with milk. The best option is to give milk and fermented milk products (at room temperature) as a separate meal. A good variation is to combine cottage cheese with tomatoes (carrots) with kefir, yogurt or milk. Rule 8 of baby food - sweets If you feed your child sweets, then definitely not after meals. It is best to give half an hour to an hour before the main meal. As a rule, they always give after. Sweets are really necessary for a child's body. Sweets of natural origin – fruits, honey, dried fruits cover the needs of the child’s body. In case of painful conditions, reduced immunity, a good option would be to offer him soaked dried fruits, fruits, melons, watermelons and hot drinks. And no more dishes or products. Several such days a month will replenish the resources of the child’s body. Rule 9 of baby food - water You should give as much water as the child wants. The best is melt water. It is advisable to gradually teach your child to drink a quarter to half a glass of water after waking up in the morning, 30 minutes before the main meal and before bed in the evening. 10 rule of baby food There is no need to forbid children to play or run after eating, and even more so, you should not persuade them to lie down. Since children almost never eat for future use, unlike adults, they do not “eat away” their sorrows, boredom and bad mood. And as a result, they don’t overeat. Such mobility after eating will not cause any harm to health.

Maximum variety of their diets. Only by including in daily diets all the main food groups - meat, fish, milk and dairy products, eggs, edible fats, vegetables and fruits, sugar and confectionery, bread, cereals, etc. can children be provided with all the nutrients they need. And, conversely, exclusion from the diet of one or another of these food groups or, conversely, excessive consumption of any of them inevitably leads to problems in the health of children. The correct selection of products is a necessary, but not yet sufficient condition for the rational nutrition of preschool children. We strive to ensure that ready-made meals are beautiful, tasty, aromatic and prepared taking into account the individual tastes of children. The basic principles of nutrition for preschoolers in kindergarten are:

Food preparation in kindergarten is carried out according to the “Twenty-day diet (menu) for organizing meals for children from 1 to 3 years old and from 3 to 7 years old,” approved by the head of the MBDOU “Combined Kindergarten No. 153”

When compiling a twenty-day diet (menu), special attention is paid to the variety of dishes throughout the day and throughout the week and the combination of animal and plant products. Vegetables and fruits are widely used in children's nutrition. The menu is designed so that the child receives two vegetable dishes and only one cereal dish daily. Vegetables are used as a side dish for main courses. Repeating the same dishes or culinary products on the same day or the next two days is not allowed.

The number of meals in our kindergarten is 3 times during the children’s stay in the institution.

Breakfast– milk porridges: oatmeal, rice, millet, buckwheat, “friendship”, milk soup with pasta. Porridges alternate with dishes made from natural eggs, cottage cheese, and home-made baked goods. As a drink - a coffee drink with milk, cocoa with milk with a sandwich with butter and cheese.

Lunch consists of a full first course, a second course with a side dish, a salad and a third course. The first courses are represented by borscht and various soups: meat, fish, vegetarian. Cutlets, meatballs, and goulash are prepared from meat and fish products.

Vegetables (boiled, stewed, or pureed) are often used as side dishes for main courses. Salads made from raw and boiled vegetables are seasoned with vegetable oil. The third course is a compote of berries, fresh fruits, dried fruits, and jelly. C-vitaminization of dishes is carried out all year round.

Compacted afternoon snack in our institution - includes dishes made from cottage cheese - casseroles, puddings, dishes from fish, poultry, vegetables, omelette made from natural eggs, as well as a drink - jelly, tea with lemon, home-made baked goods (pancakes, pancakes, buns), confectionery products: cookies, waffles.

Catering is carried out on the basis of the principles of “gentle nutrition”.
